Parish Centre

2025 update

"We have revisited our plans to redevelop our hall into a parish centre (Project Phoenix). This project was launched a few weeks before the Covid lockdown, and we recognised that Covid had a significant impact, not only on our fundraising but also on the way the congregation now interacts with church; furthermore, the costs of the build have increased and it has proved difficult to secure further pledges.  We have concluded that it is not going to be possible to achieve our original vision. However, we are committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for all our hall users – including the congregation – with good kitchen and toilet facilities and adequate storage space. So we are exploring options to redevelop and extend our existing hall, using the £500,000 that has been pledged already as a basis for further fundraising."

More to follow once those plans are clearer.

Our new Parish Centre

A transformational project for our church and the community.

Introduction | The story so farMaking a donation | Our Vision

Our church hall is reaching the end of its life in its current form, and we are excited by the opportunity this offers to make a real difference to our ministry and mission in the parish. Building a new Parish Centre is an ambitious undertaking for our church and for our community, yet it is an inspiring project which will enable us to support each other more effectively in the coming years.
