Our thought for 2009: Jesus said "I have come in order that you might have life - life in all its fullness" (John 10:10).

Eternal God, Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, open our hearts to the riches of your mercy and the glories of your love.

By the grace of your Holy Spirit, give us a share in:

your wisdom to purify our minds; your compassion, to make gentle our hearts; your truth, to sharpen our consciences; your beauty, to enliven our souls; your peace to calm our fears;

for your holy name's sake.     Amen.
