St John’s started Little Fishes in January 2000. The group is aimed at babies and under 5’s. The children have the opportunity to make their voices heard in surroundings that might be quite intimidating for those not used to a church building.
Little Fishes meets at 2pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month during term times (including half terms). All are welcome, Church goers and non Church goers alike, and during half term, older brothers, sisters and friends are particularly welcome.
Little Fishes starts in the Church with a short (15 minutes) informal service, with songs, a story and a short prayer.
It is followed by toys, drinks and biscuits in the Church Hall. If parents, grandparents, and carers, want to know more please email for further information. If any under 5’s would like a fun time in church and to bring along their friends we look forward to meeting you.
